Your child's online safety

Before we begin learning with any new ICT in our classroom students are made aware that is really important to THINK about what they are doing and how you they behaving online.

Together, we work together to understand and apply the THINK rules as developed by the Australian Government's Cyber Smart campaign. The THINK rules are:

  • Tell your Mum or Dad if you see something online that upsets you.

  • Hide your password.

  • Interesting websites can be fun.

  • Name calling or being mean is not cool and could be cyberbullying.

  • Keep your special personal information safe.

We believe that be giving your child the confidence in their personal online safety ensures that their future learning can be be safely and in an engaging manner.

To make these important rules relevant and interesting, our class play a series of games that are aimed at promoting positive online behaviour.

Please visit this website if you would like to play these games at home with your child.
